Your report just made me really happy. Great vis, less than 5 mile run, plus some good fish=amazing for a small boat diver and angler.
I've never been down that way, but it seems like it's worth a trip from Gainesville. I'm not looking for your honey holes at all, just got a couple of questions for ya.
1) Are there any spots around the distance you were out that you recommend? Talking about public knowledge or on the map that you'd say was worth stopping at to take a look at the bottom.
2) Wind/tide direction around there make a huge difference as far as viz goes?
I'm trying to get a bunch of good dives under my belt, and maybe take a few fish in the process. If you've got any more info or recommendations for me, I'd appreciate it a lot!
