The Florida Freeshafters Spearfishing Club and Obrien's Pubs will host the 2012 FFO. This tournament benefits our charities, the dive community,and the businesses that rely on them. We have set ourselves apart from other tournaments in making this weekend a true family event with activities for non diving family and their children.Prizes, raffles,giveaways, free beer, food, etc. Come enjoy an affordable, full weekend of fun for the whole family

The dates are June 8-10 and this year we are partnering with the internationally acclaimed charity Diving For A Cause to incorporate some philanthropy into our revelry. Spearing Magazine has teamed up with us again providing priceless print and online promotion which we expect will bring in over 60 competitors from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida and California. Like last year we will be streaming the scoreboard live during weigh-ins through www.WilmingtonSpearfishing.com and our Facebook Page, and hosting an open invite barbecue Sunday afternoon with live entertainment where sponsors are invited to set up promotional booths

2012 Aqua Aces Rodeo will be 6/21 - 6/24. The weigh in will be from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, 6/24 at Wally Pontiff Jr/Metairie Playground located at 1521 Palm Street, Metairie, LA. 70001. The parking lot is tight, so if you do not need to bring your boat please don’t.

Friday July 6th - Captains Safety Meeting - 6:00pm till 7:00pm at Dive Odyssea 621 N 2nd Fort Pierce - This meeting is not mandatory, but all participants are required to abide by any changes announced at the meeting. SATURDAY JULY 7th - Shooting sunup to sundown Sunday JULY 8th - Weigh-in 10:00am to 12:00pm then - Food, Party, Prizes and trophies!

Half of the proceeds from this tournament will directly benefit Woman Kind of the Florida Keys - a female health nonprofit. There will be equal prizes for male and female divisions.

Presented by Blue Water Sports and Coral Reef SCUBA/Tallahassee Archery Center July 27th-29th (27th captains meeting. 28th dive day. 29th weigh in) Captains meetings will be held in Tallahassee and Dunedin, we are also willing to add other captains meeting locations if the demand arises. Weigh in at Cabos Island Grill in Tallahassee.

This event is open to free divers only. Current California Department of Fishing Game laws apply. Donation Fee's are $30 if preregistered and $40 day of event. To receive a free shirt you must preregister. The pre registration for the free shirt will end on 7-1-11 after that you will have to purchase your shirt at the event.
