He loves it. I looked it over and it is a well-built gun, and I bet it shoots great. The only thing I didn't like was the handle - it is really wide in the plane of the barrel, but thin side to side. Rolo 08-17-2007, 02:22 PM I have an Apex 120 Carbon Rabitech. It is the best gun I have ever shot with. I have one 20mm band for quick easy loading and if/when I miss, it is NOT the guns fault. I normally do not chime into gun threads, but I love all three of mine. Prodigal Son 08-17-2007, 02:24 PM I had an aluminum 110cm Rabi Apex for awhile. It's sturdy and well-built for a Euro-style gun, and it had a nice trigger mech. I agree with Kolt on the handle. It's relatively small and thin, and tapered at the bottom. It never felt comfortable in my hand. I like gun handles that are slightly flared at the bottom. The other thing I didn't like was that it seemed uncomfortably nose-heavy, even in water. I think that problem was compounded by my discomfort with the handle. All in all, it's a good gun for the price. If you're interested in getting a Rabi, I suggest a carbon gun for 110cm sizes or higher to cut down on weight. You can use wraps of rubber tape to a "mold" the handle to your preference. Also consider getting the older Rabitech Stealth. I've used a 120cm model of this gun. It has a much more comfortable handle and is less expensive than the Apex. To be honest, I can't see a difference in performance between the 2 guns, but someone with more experience can chime in. |
