Choke Fish

So today I was invited to another "secret spot" with the dive team formally known as Team AYM. We woke up early and traveled many Kilometers on what seemed to be a gorgeous day. The sky was slightly over cast but cleared up all morning till about 1pm. The waters was glass calm and everyone was ready to get in the water but me like always.
Reyton stood by and offered any and all help to me to speed my entry time. Quickly I decided to go with my famous 140cm Rabiteck Apex with the Omer 100 palegic reel holding about 130ft of some caliber line. We got down and out and within minutes I fire my gun. A swam of rainbow runners and small jacks where apon us. By Reyton didnt see them only heard my shot and was thinking to himself how the hell... did he find something to shoot at already? As he turned around he was greated by the swarm and nailed one himself.
Later we hit some nice sized sweet lips. Diving at 70ft and waiting for these curious yet sometimes shy and always tasty fish. I noticed 2 down below on the cliff wall as Reyton spent his time with his "secret" fish attracting device. I was busy looking for a new Spotted sweet lips record which is only 5.45kg I believe. Well I tried and tried but those big DSL lips just didnt want nothing to do with my monstrosity. Eventually I scared one into a hole a ways down and dove on him. This fish was dazled with my figure and even approached me out of the safety of his hole. I fired the long 140cm railgun at his head and all I heard was the clinging of metal against the rocks. I was shook my head violently in the water and came up to only be made fun of by Rey.
Ah but all was not lost for I came back to that spot and dove 60ft on top of another sweet lips that was occasionally coming out of his hole. He had his back to me as I was reaching closer to my target. He turned and spotted me but just cruised into his hole with no worries. His black spots and almost all yellow body hinted to me that with these vibrant of colors he could be big. But all I cared about at the moment was that his big DSLs came out of that hole. Too my suprise a little grunt and he came out for a peek. BOOM! Through the eye and out the gill. He was on!
Later Rob finally kayaked his fat ass around to the spot we were diving. I was worn out and it took my about 2 hours to get back in the water. I guess the old man syndrom is starting to wear off on me :D We get back in this time with a 100cm rabitech Stealth and Robs 100cm modified sporasub. The whole time I thinking this guy is wasting his time for it was completly dead out in the ocean. But all of a sudden the low low tided started pulling and the lateral current started pullin. At this time it all seemed very familiar.... Hmmm... Casualy cruising I just happened to look behind me and guess what I saw? 2 monster dog tooth followed by a 40lber. I look at my gun and then I look at Rob... Rob! I yelled. Look as I pointed at the mean dogs of the sea.
He dove and then I dove trying to get a good head shot on the bigger of the 3. Rob had other plans and with his "secret" fish attracting technique the dog tooth flew to him and turned giving him a perfect head shot on 2. But Rob isnt any man hes a real man so he decides to shoot the smaller one mid body. He shoots and he lands it but now the dog is taking his one and only run like always. But Robs reel is jammed and hes at 30ft and kicking hard and somewhat loosing his relaxation... I just watched :D Then I go and help him to the surface as he fights his fish. but soon we found out he wasnt the only one interested in his fish. De Ja Vu!!!! Everyone loves tuna I say! Next thing you know the big doggies come flying at it in about 10ft of water. Mouths open they dart right at me and vier off at the last moment. Red Snappers come up from the deep as well. This whole time Im waiting for the shark since eveyone else was here but Rob is yelling shoot them! Hell no Rob! I will loose all my gear!
So we decided to grab our big guns, floats, and kayak over there. Hopefully get some dog tooth footage and a big doggie. But all we saw was this decent Mori Wrasse. I dove on him and he had his back to me. Then slowly his big DSL lips came over he shoulder as to say, What the... and before he could finish it was lights out with the 140. PAU!
