could not get up to tampa for the SPO this year so got out in my backyard with fearthespear.
left the dock with some nice thunder and lighting going on. rounded the bend and had a nice line coming at us...thought about it and decided to work some stuff close to shore "just in case". about 1hr later VHF starts blowing up "warning mariners seek shelter expected winds 35-40knts". we were close to shore so we just kept buggin and ended up limiting out. seas came up and it was blowing 30+ thats for sure.

Yeah it did get nasty today. My boat broke. Not sure if had anything to do with the beating we took working our way back in from the reef in the shizzat or not. Seems like something electronic in the OB...and the jack plate pump.
Seems I hurt my back somehow too. Not sure if that came from running fast the big seas or almost getting yanked overboard freegaffing a big yellowjack that followed up a snapper.

No, no Panga here. Dorado 23, although it felt like a Panga yesterday. Winds are crazy today. 25-30. Damn it man.

it works great only problem is i like shooting the 6.5mm shafts way to much.
my riffe does not get much use.
