just got a wong mg special used but in good shape now need bands it came with 1/2 i want 5/8 probly 24 inch: where is best place to get them in florida west coast ?????:)

24" 5/8ths bands will probably be a bit short for that gun.
If you are going to buy your bands pre-made I would get at least 26" bands, if not 28". Any authorized Riffe dealer should have what you are looking for; package of three pre-made bands.

Ideally, it would benefit you to learn how to tie your own bands. It will save you money in the long run and you will be able to make them what ever length you want.

I believe that Daryl sends that gun out with a 26", 27", and 28" band, all in 5/8". I have my MGS rigged with 4 9/16" bands(25, 26, 27 and 28") It is much easier to load and it shoots very smoothly.

Try this. It's what I have been using. The Dyneema wish bones mentioned above work well. I use them on my smaller guns. However they wear out quickly.

john so you use 1/8 spectra and tie a good knot in the ends ?? is the spectra braided ??

I've had good luck with this 3 mm Marlow Spectra that I get from Mori. It outlasts the rubber.

I just tie a simple overhand knot in each end.

sounds good bill ill get some . might try a bowline in each end though .got plenty of whipping twine
