Man the winters up here in RI really suck but I love the summers. This weekend is about as good as it gets! Went out with my 2 homeboys to terrorize the southern RI reefs on Saturday. The currents were ripping but the bass were out in force. We ended the day limiting out on striped bass and Tautog. Final tally 6 bass with the biggest running 59 lbs and 3 nearly identical 43 pounders.
Awesome day with great friends and big fish. Nothing better!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I'm happy to hear someone had a good weekend. Okinawa diving after a tiny typhoon was crap!!!:cussing:
Nice fish though.
whats your setup?
I shoot a 110cm Rob Allen single 20mm band gun with a Sporasub reel. Works really well except in very limited visibility which we sometimes get up here in Rhode Island.
What are the average conditions?
The average conditions during the summer here in Rhode Island are:
Vis = 5' - 15'
Water Temp = ~65 F summer
Depth = 10' - 50'
Currents = moderate to extreme depending on location.
