Big Pig 08-28-2007, 11:34 PM My garage What is your intended use? Capt.Gene 08-29-2007, 01:36 AM Instead of side mounting my spare shaft and dealing with the off-balance, I want to sling a slightly shorter free shaft on the bottom, centerline, of a beautiful 60" enclosed track gun Kahuna made for me. I've got the rear shaft mount I want to use in front of the trigger guard, I just need a snap-in that will screw to the bottom of the gun for a front mount. I'm hopeing that the (2 )56" freeshafts won't be overly muzzle heavy even with the spare one going foreward from the front of the trigger guard. I intend to use a single 11/16 band, maybe 25" length. I think this single larger band will power up the slightly shorter and lighter shaft to be comparable to the 60" free shaft I shoot with (2) 5/8 by 24 on my old gun, a custom 60" Biller LTD. Do you want to make a part for me? I've got trade goods or cash! joelovesfishin 08-29-2007, 06:44 AM  http://gaypatriot.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/gizmo.jpg Roland 08-29-2007, 07:59 AM Gene, like one of these? The front piece is shaped kinda like a C Just snuge enough to keep the shaft in place. Big Pig 08-29-2007, 09:31 AM Gene PM me your address and I will stick one in the mail. If there is a line wrap post on the bottom of the barrel, it will probably have to be removed in order to accommodate the spare shaft ScottL 08-29-2007, 10:14 AM Gene PM me your address and I will stick one in the mail. I think Ken's goint to hook me up! |
