Choke Fish

So I went out with the father of freediving, Ben Parker. As he disappeared into the murky water I sat on the surface waiting for his return which alwasy seemed like hours. As he dove I continued to ponder wether or not I should shoot my "Bo Bo" gun. The reel already feel off the track and was now pulling it of my carbon gun. I planned on not even taking it out there and once I found the problem I really didnt even want to shoot it.
But after Ben came up from a dive I happen to look down and see this good size fish cruise over the reef. I love it when I see new fish I havent seen before. But the murk had played with my eyes, for it was a fish I have seen and shot before. This one however wasnt any puny 1.55kg fish like the one I took before back when I first started, it was at least 4lbs. For one of these yellow sweet lips I think that as big as I have EVER seen them.
He was stupid, for when I dove he didnt run. I went down and did my sweet lip fish call. He hesitated and made an "S" turn. On the end of that turn I kept on his head and fired! My shaft lodged itself in his lower jaw, a prestine hit  So I horsed him up and stuck the end of my shaft in his gill. Next thing I know Ben hands me a tooth brush  Was I suppose to brush his teeth? He didnt even have teeth. No Ben uses a tooth brush as a stringer. How ingenious. Actualy its a little inside joke that he uses one :)
As I am handling my fish and looking at the damage to my polymer track on my 140cm gun, Ben dives over the drop. He later comes up and with a smile, the most excitement I have ever seen on his face in the water, and says with a slight change in his voice. Those are the biggest 5 sharks I have seen in Okinawa. I mean he said this very calmly, I guess he keeps this way so not to raise his heart rate for the next dive :D J/K Ben, but only you could have made that situation that funny. Anyhow he told me he went down and saw some Bonito and with em was 5 sharks. I had told him I have seen sharks and one shark that chased me everywhere was in the same area we dove today. So Im glad I got another whitness to voice that there are in fact many sharks in Oki and that there are Large sharks as well.
Anyhow I just would like to thank Ben for coming out and keeping the sharks in thier place :whip: Since while you were down there I had a mess of blood coming from this splashing fish.
Also Ben none of the pics I took today came out well. My camera isnt that great and I really only got it for video but on sunnier days and clearer waters its a champ. I also was fooling around with different settings. They came out blurry cuz there wasnt enough light. I had to set the exposure to capture more light which in turns means you have to hold the camera still and your subject has to be like that too. Dont worry I will get better pics and in the future I plan on buying a professional camera. But here are the best I have.
