Kris, Frank, and I headed out of Key Largo today for a little bit of the usual fish slaying. We launched at around 7:30am and were in the water by 8am. The viz was absolutely amazing, it felt as if I were in a swimming pool. The first spot produced a few hogs that I caught, a yellow jack caught by Frank, and three lobsters caught by Kris. We then went for some deeper diving in about 50-60ft where we were greeted by a constant presence of jellyfish and some current. Despite the conditions, Kris was able to bring two nice sized muttons back to the boat. After diving the area for a bit we decided to change spots where Frank and I caught two lobsters "" , we caught a few more hogs, and Kris was able to bring home a flounder, the first we've ever seen in South Florida. Overall, this day was fun as hell, the weather, the fish, and the friends to enjoy it with made it absolutely worthwhile. Thanks again to Frank for the invite, I had alot of fun. Kris and Frank, it was great fishing with you guys as always, hope to do it again soon...maybe some blue water? :toast:
