I went H&L fishing on Saturday and the Mahi and Wahoo were THICK!!! We boated at least 60 fish. There's not much size to the fish, but they are plentiful. I'm thinking here in the next few weeks the bigger fish will be moving in.

I asked the Capt if he would be willing to let me jump over board with a speargun and he was concerned about the current and sharks. I've got another H&L trip scheduled fo 15Sep and told the Capt I was going to bring my gun. The current was nice and the seas flat Saturday, so hopefully it'll be the same in a couple of weeks. I'll post pics of the fish we caught later.

If it's anything like last year the Mahi/Wahoo moved out around mid-October. So if we want to do a Blue Water trip this year, it'll have to be soon.

Wait till you see what we got :D After dinner I will share. Dude I cant believe you guys braught in that many fish. I saw the size of them. I would like some big fish for next spring :D Awesome stuff joe! I was told that they are bigger in the spring and we only saw and landed 3 big mahi. The Wahoo are small and I was told they dont get much bigger maybe 20-30lb max. NO SHARKS! I was told from all the b/w trips these guys went on they have only seen one small one.
No bill fish :(
