Ea summer the gray snapper schools up on the "Bar" 11 miles west of Key West.Top of the bar is 50 fsw, sides slide down to over 100.
Its hard so show them off but I used some asa 800 high speed film and was able to capture the volume of these schools. Every one gets all they need, but the largest are only 18". Alotta fun spearin thru these schools. Wade

We just got in (2 am) from putting the smack-down on the big mangoes out on the reef here near Big Pine (fishing). The new moon is always the best so, even though most of the locals said it was a bit late in the season, we headed out there anyway. Holy cow were they thick. Passing over the honey hole the machine showed an orange and red mass nearly top to bottom in 50 feet of water for 50 yard...thats before the chum bag went out. It was just silly.
