My friend Bruce and I have been working on these for quite some time. The handle on my 65 bluewater gun also was born from the same brainstorming sessions.

We used both aluminum and lexan as the center pieces, with canary, mahogany, padauk, spalted maple, and others are underway. All are epoxied and pinned. The pic is of the rough cuts.

Those look sweet, Maybe you could give me some pointers on gun building the next time your in town. I've built a sea hornet style gun & want to try to go for a laminated stock high end gun next.

I presume you're selling them? If so, how much per handle? Thanks!

Thanks guys. Hardore, I would be happy to share any info I can - shoot me an email (kjflyfish@yahoo.com) or PM.

The handle on my big gun was a bit more difficult than these to make, simply because of the 5-piece lamination, but it is the same concept.

Grunt, if you are interested, I can set you up with a handle - send an email or PM. One thing about these handles is that they can't just be screwed on like an Alexander or Aimrite. However, they really do take custom guns to an elevated level. If there is any other interest about getting a hanlde, let me know.
