Hows it going , there was a guy that use to post in a yahoo group (eastcoastfreediver) that was always spearing the shark river in NJ . not sure where this is ? He was always looking for dive buddies , I was always busy @ the time and could never go . Haven 't seen him post in a while though .

When ever I'm up for the weekend, visiting family,I usually hit Manaquan or Barneget (the ibsp side is a favorite).

went out the 13th and 14th (manasquan & barneget). A lot of small stripers, still waiting for the fall run to materialize. Lots of porgys and puppy drum at manasquan, some nice blackfish on the end too. Vis was great ~15'. Took home the prerequisite blackfish and some sheepshead.

theres a few of us spearing the northern parts of nj... me and my brother and about four other people all live about five minutes from sandy hook... we all recently just started spearing but we are really into it... we spear and where from the raritan bay to LBI
