View Full Version : Key Largo Freediving 9/15/07
ApneaSpearo 09-15-2007, 11:03 PM Hit the reefs north of Key Largo with Oscar and Frank, currents and winds were strong and vis was a little worse than usual (Fall is here), still had a lot of fun with those guys, thanks for taking us out Frank. We managed a mixed bag of fish including this 13lb (28") cubera.

Thanks. No, I live in Miami but Frank (FREEK) works in Key Largo and goes spearing out of there a lot.

The cubera was on a shallow patch reef in 30'. All of the fish were taken shallow but I did spot a 15+ lb mutton at 90' that wouldn't let me get within range, would have been a PB :banghead:
