I have never used one of the swivel conectors on a regulator hose, but once I started using a moldable mouthpiece by Seacure, my jaw fatigue was completely eliminated. http://www.seacure1.com/

I find the atomic mouth pieces pretty comfy and they are damn near impossible to chew threw. I didnt like the seacures when i tried them because guess they werent squishy enough when id move my tounge.

I know what you're saying Mike. They are really hard.
Personally, I like the Comfo-Bite ones, I think Aqualung used to make them. They had that ridge that went across like behind your teeth, it was awesome. Other than that, my buddy gets these purple ones in bags of like, 50 and they work pretty well. They kinda look like the sherwood ones. I hate the short ones. I think Oceanic uses them. They make my teeth hurt.

The Seacure is a very good mouthpiece if you are having a problem. People don't realize that it fits completely different than a "conventional" mouthpiece. It is a mold of your own personal bite (full mouth) as opposed to just front teeth. Stays in with no effort whatsoever.
You must dive a couple of times to really get used to them. I don't know anybody who has used one and then gone back to a "regular mouthpiece" if they gave it a chance.
Bonus is they last a long time (years)

Sherwood makes a mouthpiece that has longer bite pieces so your back teeth are also biting down on it instead of just your front teeth. I haven't had any jaw fatigue since I swithed to that one.

I found it at Scube Quest (I'm pretty sure) in Orlando for 8 bucks or so.

I just bought one yesterday due to a small tear starting onone of my regs. I first bought the first thing the local dive shop handed me when I asked for one and got a little POS. I didn't realize it until I went to install it. I drove to Diver Direct thinking they would have 20 types to choose from, and they had about three to choose from. But one was the Atomic, so I bought it and it seems pretty nice. What I wanted was what I had. My Zeagle flathead has a nice big mouth piece and my older Sherwood regs have the exact same one as the Zeagle except they say Sherwood right on them and the Zeagle does not. Anyway, I would say the Zeagles, Sherwoods are nice, but the Atomic is available. I havn't dove it yet though. But it looks to be high quality and semi large(not quite as large as the others but very close). Who would have ever thought this would even be a topic? I never thought about it until I needed one yesterday!
