Had a fish fry @ a local dive shop last week to see if there was enough intrest to start a local club and had a good turn out. I'm gonna email this site to the steel slingers that attented so they can check out!

Have you considered joining the FSDA(Florida Skin Divers Association and the FRA(Fishing Rights Alliance)? They are leading the fight for the promtion and protection of our sport.

Yea someone needs to repost a thread with those and other pics from the meeting.That was a good thread,and that food made alot of people come out of the woodwork;)

We will be having our next meeting on August 23 rd. We will then proceed to have them every 3rd Thrusday of the month. I have asked grant to send out an email. Aaron is also working on the web site and Shannon (Don's Brother) is working on a logo.

As far as our stuff being deleted from SB. Well, I don't what to say. I guess us drama queens will just have to move to the east or change sites.

hogsniper, Thanks for having us. We are glad this site is up and running. We will do whatever you need to help get trip reports on the site. Our club dives between Crystal River and Steinhatchee with the most of us diving in Suwannee.

Thanks for the welcome hogsniper! Yeah as we try to get organized we are open to any and all suggestions joining FDA & FSDA sounds like a great idea it's on our list of things to do! Hopefully the club will pan out looks good so far.

Just signed on to S B and had missed out on the first meeting last month , real bummer what happened but it looked like a blast . just reading the thread and it seem's that every meeting times are on my work night :banghead: was and still looking forward to meeting some steel chuckers that APE been telling me about , so good luck with the new site and maybe see everyone at depth. jerry long
