If any of you guys have a dog crate laying around that you no longer use, please let me know a price.

I can pick it up anywhere around the Tampa Bay area, or meet you someplace...

Crate needs to be large enough to hold a 6 month old Rottweiler puppy, at least.

Thanks,

Scott

Permanent crate or travel type crate?

Permanent would be better, but if you have a travel crate I could borrow for the weekend, that would be great, Mike!!!

I have a perm type you can have until my wife talks me into another puppy. Hopefully never.
One catch, you have to come help me get it out of my attic tommorrow morning before I go to the airport.
I pm'd my cell, call me.

If for some reason it doesn't work out, the best deal on plastic vari kennel type dog crates is at walmart. They have sizes that will fit up to a full grown Rott comfortably.

I actually have 2 large crates, one is the type that folds down flat. We have a Golden Retriever and a Standard Poodle so I'm sure they would work. We actually just bleached them out to put in a garage sale. $20.00 each.

Thanks, but I picked up the crate from Mike this morning...:toast:

Dan - we found a sweet little 6 month old rescue girl at the Humane Society in Naples, and a personal trainer in Naples has had her for the last week and is bringing her up for a "test run" this weekend to see how she fits in...I'll post some pics once she gets here....Thanks again for all your help with the Rottie info!

Congrats, and good luck. I'm dealing with two of my own, the puppy which is 4 months by now and a 1 year old male that I picked up. The puppy is feisty and of working quality but I don't think he's going to be an eye stopper. The one year old is gorgeous but doesn't appear to be interested in protecting the house. I think I'm going to sell him.
