I see you have a little retainer alastic band on the flopper, which kind are you using? Does it always come off when you hit a fish?

Sweet ass Spanish Marco!! How far offshore are you having to travel to find good fishing areas?

You can see mountains on the horizon but I've never seen mountains offshore, just tall ass hotels so I can't gauge it. Still, I'll guess from the picture 10km?? He didn't necessarily get the fish on that spot though..

The solution is simple (I like simple things); I have a truck air chamber (or bladder?) I don't know in English, in Spanish "Tripa de camión" or "Cámara", that I use for many things. The retainer is just a little piece that I perforated with a paper perforator (abre-huecos) and cut out with scissors to the shape I wanted, just enought to be easy to handle with gloves on. It comes out at the same moment the shaft starts to fly. You'll always find it in the mono.
I just hate the flopper to be clacking and this little thing is just perfect for it. :):awink:
