Anyone know where I can get one locally? I've seen some people using them before and they seem like a pretty good idea, but I've never seen such a tip for sale anywhere.
Being the tuerco that I am, I didn't even bother asking Mori if he sold them or knew someone that did when I was there last week.

Man, I totally forgot to put up the info about them in case anyone was interested.
I called beach cities scuba in Dana Point the week before the Sturgill and they had 3 left so I snapped them up. Trident makes them and they were like $16 each.
Pros: The holding power is amazing for fish like bass and perch, basically anything that it can really sink into, and I'm sure its not going to be coming out of a sheephead's skull anytime soon. It is also a much lighter head than your usual 3-prong, so it shoots alot faster.
Cons: Mostly construction issues. The metal that they use is very soft, such that any miss or partial ding into the rocks will flatten out the points pretty quickly. Also, if a fish is only strung up on two or three of the points and thrashes around, it can bend the prongs a bit. Luckily you can bend them back into place, but I'd rather they just stay where they are supposed to be.
