Petra is finished with the photography and all of the sponsors are in place. We are putting the finishing touches on the artwork now and will be heading to the printers in the next fews days.

We are starting pre-sales this week once we get the paypal button in place. Our price is $20 and there will be limited availability. ALL proceeds go towards diver's rights and the FRA.

We would hope that each user of this site would want to buy at least one calendar, but please consider buying extras for Christmas gifts!

if we could have managed the sexy look with fish, we would have. it requires shooting the fish, & then coming back home to get sexy & then holding the fish. since we had 20-25kt winds all weekend, there were no fish speared for the last 4 photo shoots. but at least we look good;)

Here's one of Lynn, Miss June!

On the question of girls with fish, we took these in the Marquesas and Keys in September, and we did get a bunch of fish. Lynn really wanted a pic with a big fish, but we really didnt get any world record fish-which she is after. We took some pics with fish, but didnt end up using them for the final cuts. While we were shooting the pics, Lynn was down in the water with her gun and a nice hogfish, and had been for a while- we were on the SW corner of the Marquesas atoll on a little inlet and the tide was running out, at sunset- and I was looking at the picture screen from the prior shot and I saw a wake coming right up behind Lynn and yelled "get up a shark!" She stood up in the 18" deep water and a 6' lemon shark just turned away. We did some shore shots after that. So we did do some fish shots, but didnt use em.

since i seem to get so many compliments...i may as well dish some out.

Denny and I had a chance to look at the finished calendar yeterday. The pictures look great. There are just a couple of adjustments to be made for the final print. We will be mailing them out later this month.

The final edits were done this week and the calendars ordered. They should be in hand by next week. All pre-orders will be mailed out immediately.

They have arrived, the 2008 FRA Calendars are in hand and there is a couple ways to get your paws on one.

1) If you have already ordered and paid, yours have been shipped.

2) You can stop in at Aquatic Obsession on Central Ave. in St. Pete(727-344-DIVE). They have a limited number on hand.

3) Click http://www.thefra.org/calendar.htm and we will mail them to you.

4) Stop in at Fantasea Scuba or Coyotes Bar and Grill in Port Charlotte. (pm chumbucketsgirl if you need directions)

5) Nsearch has a handful of them in the Lakeland area. Send him a pm if you need to pick one up.

As you know, this promotion will enable the FRA to start the new year with some funds in the bank. We only ordered 500 calendars and are already about 40% sold and they just came in yesterday. Be sure to order a couple extras for gifts if you can.
