one of my guy find this baby deer
three weeks ago and they were playing with him for few days when I find out.
So it was too late to return him to woods; since his mom would not feed him anymore. We and up adopting him; Yesterday we find him in the mpan with broken leg and took him to the vet ( by the way few vet refuse to care for him since he was a wild life)
I picked him up today he is doing great looks like this baby will be with us for while :):):)

Very Cool! You're doing the right thing. That cage will be perfect for him until he gets big enough. Letting them move around too much makes the meat tough.

My neighbor is a vet and takes care of wild stuff like that all the time. Im sure she'll help you out if you need it.

Congrats, that's a noble thing to do.. Just don't let the FWC see that you have it, unless you have a permit to raise them. They don't care if you're helping out or not, they're a DICK about it. We found one, once upon a time and were looking everywhere for someone who'd take it.. We ended up talking to a wildlife official and he let us know really quick that we had to release it (even though it would die, it was a NEW born) regardless of what happened and if we didn't, it was a felony offense he'd have to get us for! Needless to say the little thing died, I'm sure, but we returned it.... I'm sure the founding father's of this country are rolling over in their graves over people getting a felony offense for wildlife violations, while people are running around shooting up schools and murdering people.. Gotta save those animals, leave the killers in the population!
