Why are you driving all the way to Maryland? And, it's been in the 80's here lately with water temps in the mid to high 70's. That may or may not change in the next two weeks, but not by much I imagine.

If it's Alan, ask him to tell you one of Mark's stories.

PatMyGreen 10-29-2007, 11:08 AM Good luck guy, I hope the weather chances for the best. I went out with Capt Tom a few years back and it was amazing, I wasn't very good at spearing yet, but he put us on so many great spots we did just fine shotting like crap! This is a great charter, top notch people all the way around.

Yep, that's Pat's video on the "photos" page of Tom's site. Turn the volume up!
Tom has some of the best ledges I have ever dove, and his operation is one where the customer service is the best I have seen.

TheRealSpearit 10-30-2007, 06:07 AM Thanks Pat and Pat.
I don't think there's any chance the weather will break by Friday. It's been pretty bad weather here since the beginning of Sept. If this keeps up, I'll be having fish(spots) and grits all winter.
NSEARCH 10-30-2007, 09:57 AM Capt Tom, check your PM's
Sasquatch 10-30-2007, 10:09 AM That sucks (but who wants to go out when it is that rough?!).
As I read the forecast daily, I also see the cold water coming down quickly. :cussing: Hopefully we'll get a few more chances before dry-suit weather.
Edit: here's what I'm using for water temps: http://www.wunderground.com/MAR/AM/158.html?MR=1
Md Spear 10-30-2007, 10:14 AM Well, I just saw forecast for frying pan shoals area thurs nite :seas building 8-11feet. SWEET!!! I guess I will just have to let my sting show and say its probably more than I can do to spear in water that big.Hopefully next time around. Wade
AristaKat 10-30-2007, 09:46 PM :soapbox::soapbox::soapbox: next time Capt Tom !!!!!! Look forward to it
