I just looked at my diving schedule for the last 9 days, and quantified it on a calendar. It's crazy to think about diving that much in a given period of time. (9 days) Lets just say that a safe number of hours for each dive was 4 hours, not including driving time, that's about 24 hours of diving in 9 days. Damn........ Some of those days were over 4 hours too. All the way up to 5 and a half I think was my longest day. Some of you may have experienced longer weeks than this, but it just dawned on me and I thought I'd share. I'm still tired.

By the way, my aim with my RA 120 is locked. I'll post my pictures that prove this when I get home. Overall good weekend for me in fishing and diving. Nothing near the BW success that was attained at the HSD outing, but still good for me.

The attached image is a print screen of a calendar with the names of who I dove with and where on which day. Check it out.

I have officially tested the limits of my wife's patience with spearfishing. After the tournament, it will be time to play nice for a while.

Here's the pics I promised. The CT that I shot through the head never saw me coming, but the other shots were somewhat skilled I'd say. The GJF was in about 55' and I shot him after coming up from 61' and noticing him. It took me some seconds to call him in, but he came within about 15 feet and I was running out of time so I took a desperation shot. Well aimed, but still a last second thing. There was that awkward pause between the shot and the impact that makes you think you missed. He gave me a bit of a fight, and I was a little stressed while bringing his fight up to the surface for air. I guess it looked like I had been down for a while and was fighting hard enough for my buddy to come down to make sure I had it. haha. No need but well thought. The camo grouper was small, and I kinda feel bad for shooting it, but I had to. He was at the bottom of the sandy area just looking up at me from about 70 feet deep. Got him. The skill there was the fact that I saw him and was able to dive that deep. I hit my personal best of 71 feet for a minute and 12 seconds. Anyway. The last pic is my total catch for the 2 day weekend. This is my best cumulative catch to date.

Vis was great at Hedo, probably 50-60. Sandy bottoms. Deep dives, and many fish.

Yeah dude, Nice catch, I was there on Saturday and it was fantastic. Lots of big coral trout in about 40-70ft. They were fish of every type all over. If I could only dive one spot on the Island Hedo would probly be it, its always a great bet. Good job, We should go dive sometime.
