Absolutely crushed the fish yesterday...

Talked everyone into making the long run to a couple of wrecks promising big pompano and cobia. Turned out to be true as I smacked a fat cobia and 2 big african pomps on the first drop. 2nd drop another cobia and pompano. Les and Greg also shot nice pomps. Nailed a bunch of grouper also.
Best diving conditions ever. i could see the wreck when i stepped off the boat. Ended up not even using the jug most of the day.

Fun day on the pond for a hookie day off work. Grilling up some of those pomps this weekend with a bunch of people.

Awesome viz, low current, flat and warm seas.............man this just doesn't happen very often for us around here.

I just got done eating some pompano. Marinated in Italian dressing and cooked on the grill.
Absolutely outstanding! one of my new favorite fish.

Going to go shoot more this weekend.
