I've seen some bullet shaped lead that looks neat but what do you all prefer?

I like these but have not been able to find a source.

Yeah I remember you guys talkin about those, did you figure out the best way to make a mold to make them yourself? Maybe plaster of paris or wood?

The best way to make one would appear to be to conatct Dagodiver :D

standard block lead works best for me. I have a D-weight mould (like the one pictured above) haven't used it yet. I find that style of weight "digs in" much more then the block weight, and is no more hydrodynamic.

I like the ones like Speareasy showed. They take up less room on the belt per unit of weight, are nice and sleek, and at a weight of 1.5 pounds each, adding or removing one moves my neutral depth just a few feet.

I got them from Florida Freedivers years ago, but I hear he doesn't have them any more

Maybe yours are led, but mine are lead.

That was a joke, I guess I'm the only one who got it? I like to plastic coated ones myself

I did not know any better when I bought the gear, I am rockin the shot bags. I might switch over to plain jane lead now that I am rockin the wetsuit. I did not want the regular weights chafing.
