it's quite fun actually (2'-3' of viz couple days ago). with my arm fully extended I could just see past the trigger gaurd. reminded me of a very warm version of home :P

Nice fish amphibious. It's like lay on the bottom and wait for the biggest set of visible stripes to swim by and hope for a clean shot!!! Looks like you had the shot angles down too. You didnt have to floatline those, did ya??

Well, it depends on your definition of bad...It's never really as bad as it was in that video, but I would say on average it's about 15ft. Some days 5ft, and some 30Ft. The area I was diving in that video always has bad viz. La Jolla, on the other hand, will usually have the best diving conditions in San Diego. We don't really have a wide selection of "Bluewater" species, just YT and Dorado at the right time of years. In fact, I can care less about Dorado or paddy hopping for that matter. It's about 5 min of total dive time for every 45min of boat driving time. I would rather dive the outside kelp and shoot YT and White sea bass.
