On another note I just got done with my time at work. Yes its like doing time. All I did was sit there and watched movies. I love how people have dirty knees and a chapped ass in the military. The big scare about all this work that was suppose to be never was. So I was too bored with movies and began to take the muffler off my truck. Turbo Diesel with no muffler sounds something familiar to a fat boy chasing down a donut on wheels. Nothing but snorting and hissing. Sounds mean! Im looking foward to tomorrow. Hopefully no one else is sitting around wasting time like I. Better be some awesome pics next week.

We went out down south all day, the water was unusally calm but the vis was sh*t. Chuck went on our 1st dive & shot some good fish:fish:, Zach shot a big Green Jobe Fish:fish:, & and I came if without a single fish:pissed:...I only fired my gun like 4 times so...whatever.

It was still better than work.:yay:

Im in the club too. Went out to the reef north of tori with the polespear. Did I say I hate polespear? Well I do. Dropped in on three seperate coral trout but couldn't get within range. Other than that the reef was dead.

I won't shoot those fish. They are hands down the most difficult and nastiest fish to clean on okinawa. Scaling that fish is a nightmare and couple that with all the slimeiest protective coating ever means this old dude doesn't shoot them.

Normal parrotfish taste much better anyways.

Anybody hip to the trick of using hot water to blanch parrotfish skin. You can do the same thing to this fish's scales to make it easier.

Ya but the X is still like $200 bucks at most more than the 40. I only was interested in the X cuz of the faster continuous shooting to be able to catch "polespears" flying, fish swimming, etc. But I think the 40 can handle it. Oh that 200mm lens is like $200 bucks online. I think Im just going to buy the d40 soon. The 18-55mm lens should be fine for underwater shots. Underwater you cant take good distance shots anyhow due to clearity of the water etc.
