A few pics from last week of December. Maybe these can warm us up a bit. Shot lots of decent hogs and bagged quite a few bugs too. Dirk (thunderball) shot a 14 lb. hog and a 30 lb. black. Vis was too poor to shoot pics on the Baja.

Note to self, next time don't forget the red lens. Really can make a difference. A few from a prior trip with red lens.

real nice how deep?
Average depth was 60 foot. Some as shallow as 40-50 some down to 90. Most of the nicer breaks I was on were 45 ft. on the high side and 90-100 ft. on the deep side, but not sheer drops like in the grounds, mostly keys like, very wide gradual slopes, some over a hundred yards from the shallow stuff down to the sand. Makes for a lot of life and way more bottom than one could explore in a lifetime!
