I will be there with bells on! A handful of some of the TBSC and SPUC members will be meeting at my dive shop about noon and then heading down as a group. If anyone wants to follow us down, let me know and we will give you the exact time that we will be leaving.

We do need to be there early for sure, Maybe if we caused enough of a "PEACEFUL" scene we could make the nightly news. Nothing illegal, just enough to get the attention of as many folks as possible. I was trying to call in to the Cowhead show on 102.5 earlier to get a plug in about the deal and get the word out to all of the listeners, but they had too much stuff going on, I could not get through. IMHO the reason their is a problem on SB is that the best interests of the sport and those that make up the sport are NOT whats being put FIRST!!!

OK, I can't make it to the meeting. I have a Calculus test that I can't miss. However, I am taking a different approach. I have some of the guys from the FWC Artificial Reef Commission coming down to dive with me. I am trying to get some stuff started here in Gulf County, and they are very interested. They want to come down and do some fish counts (they are spearos too), invertebrate counts, and all kinds of other stuff on some of the existing reefs. He is going to bring some of the other guys from the Tallahassee office, so this is a great chance for me to do some talking to the FWC. I am going to take them and show them some Jewfish, and hopefully a lot of gags. Good luck at the meeting guys, and maybe someone could request a second meeting in the north end of the state.

Sorry Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to be there but two things preclude me from attending. One, and the main, is a minor procedure I had Monday ran into some complications and I need access to the "room" at a moments notice, if you know what I mean. With a couple hundred spearo the line could get to long. The second is I need to help at the sop while Capt Bill is at the meeting. I know the situation is in good hands and all y'all will do what is best. Thanks for keeping the fires burning and all you have done and are about to do.
