Thank you Denny for rallying the troops and for doing your best in standing up to the Council and keeping them in check with respect to our rights to fish. As well as being THE spokesman for all spearfishermen and fishermen. I'm honored to be able to call you my friend :toast:

I'm not as eloquent with words as Rich T and Howie are so I'm going to quote them on some very important points they made:

Thank you to everyone that showed up even for 5 minutes. You are the reason that Denny fights 365 days a year, not just during council meetings. Denny is clearly leading the way in the protection of the recreational fisherman's rights. I just wanted to personally thank my friend, fellow diver, and a guy that I greatly admire for his dedication to all of us.

Which brings me to something else...
If we would have just been able to afford to send Denny or someone else to all the Stock assessment meetings, I'm pretty sure the "Data" would be quite different.

These stock assessment meetings were held around the Southeast and generally cost about 2 thousand dollars each not including actually paying someone!

I would bet that everyone in that room would have paid a hundred bucks each if they knew that this thing could have possibly been stopped in its tracks before it even started if we could have been in from the beginning!
