Well after thinking that IE island was going to produce we were highly dissapointed. I first jumped in and this beast of a snapper was sitting on the drop off, so i dropped down on him and grunted he came right up to me, shot him and he took off with my line. Got him under control and swam on, but the reef was deserted after that. Saw a bunch of sweetlips, but they just wouldn't come in on you. Miss a couple of coral trouts and an Ulua. Maybe we just hit in on the wrong time of the lunar cycle. Our taxi driver was stoked because we gave him one of the fish, he was bragging to all his friends on the radio, he got free drinks from us, fish, and we paid him for the ride.

i really don't know if you can eat those some say it is poisonous others say it's good. I really don't know, so i just give it away most of the time. This one is big enough for the Okinawan record, but i'm not going to try because we know of a place where the possible 50-80 lbs ones are, maybe rob we'll hit another side of that island.

don't know kevin was my sugar daddy for that trip. But maybe we'll hit the reefs of the YYY resort, it's suppose to be good around there, but there's no way to get to that beach without going on the resort, so we'll hit that same spot again maybe this weekend if your down! Let me know we'll have to reserve the car to go over there, it kind of sucks with the taxi,

Im down, Kev's car would probably be perfect just because it can hold alot stuff. We should camp overnight and check out the whole island.

Ya the taxi... There just wasnt enough room for our gear and we were poking holes all in the dudes seat. It is a bout 1,200 yen a person. 6,500 yen for Melissas car. My car would be about 8,000 yen. Smaller the car the cheaper.\
Things I saw but didnt have a chance to shoot was a Giant Mori Wrasse, Ulua, Sweet lips, and coral trout. The most wierd thing about the spot we went to was that there was next to no parrot fish. Not one big one and the only ones I saw were the little brown ones.

Look at the Hawaiian section for an update on the NW Hawaiian islands.
