Had a fun time in Sugarloaf chasing fish and getting lobster. Got the chance to take the boat down this time to do some spearfishing. We picked up a couple on the reef, but the fish were scarce. We found a place in 85' that held blacks consistently with a few bruisers, but they knew the ropes all too well. We got several blacks to 16#s and the highlight was a 16" hind.

Was that your fish? I thought it looked smaller than the fish I shot. I think this was the fish I had aim on before you cut me off.

there are some sections of reef down there that consistently held nice grouper when i shot that area regularly.

this past weekend i dove the ledge near the A. Busch and spotted 3 big blacks on one dive...poor vis and smart fish resulted in no meat...but oh well.

We picked up one on the reef that dropped off to the Busch. We didn't get more than 65' b/c of the dirty water. I could hear the fireworks though when we passed close to the Busch. There was some shooting going on.

Looks good, guess you guys are spoiled now on that great vis. ;)
