Along the most exposed corner of the Mexican mainland lies the country’s largest bay, Banderas Bay, where protected waters clash with the open ocean and world class fishing sites abound. A mecca for large marine life, it is no wonder why the Punta de Mita area has boasted record breaking catches of sail fish, mahi-mahi, blue and black marlin, yellow fin tuna, roosterfish, amberjacks and giant dog tooth snapper!

The former fishing village of Punta de Mita is now a developing luxury destination for divers and fishermen with first-class accomodations, a selection of local restaurants, and of course, Punta Mita expeditions dive center and spearfishing charters. Our 28’ custom “super panga” is equipped with a center console, dual beam fish finder, and chartplotter/GPS and can accomodate up to 4 free divers with full gear. Our boat has custom speargun racks to give us extra room on board. Whether it is blue water, reef hunting, or a mixture that you are looking for, resident freediver, Sebastian, will share his local knowledge and ensure you an extra edge on your spearfishing experience. Pure to the sport of underwater hunting, we engage in non-tank diving practices only.
