I just watched Apocalypto, I'd seen the preview's and heard about the oscars so I thought for sure it was going to be lame. It was fantastic. If you liked Last of the Mohicians, you'll love it. 4 star !

Hills have eyes 2 .. Very good , but I like that kinda stuff ! 3.5 stars

I'm not sure what the popularity of this movie speaks of, but it can't be good.

On the other hand, I'd give Apocolypto a 5. It's rare to have a movie done right, but Mel proved that if you take those ***'s in Hollywood out of the equation, you'll end up with a true classic.
