Here are the three that I have received from tuesday this week.

Diver: 110 feet out of Clearwater= We had less than 5 feet.
Freediver: 30 feet just south of Anclote= I smashed my face in the sand.
Rod and reel: Egmont 45ish feet(rod guys are never sure of depth)= mud.

So I am wondering what area we are going to give it a go on. Any ideas. Lets all try to help each other out because if you are like me you need some fish for the freezer.

Forget the fish for the freezer......I need fish for the weigh in..LOL. I think it's going to be a toss up. I don't think there will be viz anywhere. Not happy to see 5 ft. in 110 ft. I think I may just be drinking on the boat this weekend and not doing too much diving. I still get my raffle ticket don't I?...;-)

In Sarasota this morning on shore it was nasty, grey, milky water. Waves about 3' rolling in. Not too choppy this morning, but wind is supposed to kick it up. It was nasty yesterday too.

I took this shot of BucketOne yesterday in 90 feet south of the ditch. It was some secret wreck called the Fin Barge.

On Tuesday at the skyway bridge, temp was 68 degrees, vis was 2-8 feet. Saw one sheepie that would have been worth shooting, but was concentrating on stonecrabs.

shoot the bay for sheepies and mangos. i dove 60ft off ft desoto last week and camando crawled along a ledge. i had just enough vis to see to the back of a 3ft cave with my light. i saw shadows that resembled mangos and gags.

I like M Diesel's plan of drinking and hoping for the raffel ticket to come through for a goodie!

I think you have to have a fish to get a raffle ticket. I could be wrong, though, it happened before once...

you dont even have to shot if you paid your entry you have the same chance as someone who gets 150 points.

You guys go catch fish.....I'm going to sit topside and catch a buzz. I'm packed and loaded. If I get at least 10 ft. of viz I'm shooting....well, maybe I'll hold out for 12 foot of viz....LOL.

My dad and I just got in from crabbin and viz is s**t. Granted we were not that far from shore but I couldnt even see the traps until they surfaced the water. Pretty rough and windy too.

130fsw or bust!!!

Seriously after today's niec weather and tomorrow's predicted good weather I think we will be ok. The tides are really long right now so hopefully alot of that crap will get washed out. But this is the ocean we are talking about, its pretty un predictable...

Did the tides change from 6 hours each? What happened? Did the moon move? I havent heard this. Just kidding, I know the tides didnt get any longer. I hope you all have a good time today. Lynn and I could not get this day off, we were planning on at least attending the weigh in, but we both have to work. Good luck to all. Steve.
