I want to do an article on the open again this year. Last year I was lucky enough to collect enough photos from others to put together a real nice piece. Obviously since I like to shoot the open, I won't be able to stand at the weigh in line all day waiting for the first place fish to show up.
So, if anybody gets some nice shots, please let me know. I will get copies of the magazine to anybody that wants one, and I gladly thank you in advance for any help.
I'm not sure if the guy that took many of the first place pics I used last year will be there again this year.
Oh yeah and, Good Luck to everyone shooting and Be Safe:yay:

Adam,
Give me a yell as I shot most of the pictures last year, and plan to shoot again this year at the weigh-in.
I'm also the webmaster for www.StPeteOpen.com (http://www.StPeteOpen.com), and a collection of the pictures from last year are posted in the galleries on our site.
I'll be glad to contribute pics for your article this year. What magazine is it?
Dean

The name of the magazine is "WaterLife". The Publisher, Michael Heller, was the creator and editor of the Charlotte Sun's Waterline, but quit and started his own publication after repeated heavy editing of his own columns. Apparently the higher ups at the Charlotte Sun were tree hugging manatee lovers. It's just a free, monthly newspaper style magazine, but I feel it's well respected in our area and I'm proud to be a part of it. I'll try and post some previous articles.

And Adam (Chum Bucket) does a fantastic job writing articles for it ("WaterLife").
I now make it a point to pick up the paper, just to read his articles.

That's great Chum, you can have access to anything you need at the SPO. Just find an officer when you get there(Hooker-Prez, Zacker-VP, Scarboro-Sec.).
