Months ago I went to Hawaii and took some underwater pics. Just thought I'd post a few. They came out pretty good I think for a simple point and shoot digital camera inside of a underwater housing.

The big island - Kona area. Most of the pics were taken while snorkeling / freediving. Tons of stuff to see just a short swim from shore. We did the manta dive through a local dive shop. First did a dusk dive, and then they put a box of underwater lights on the sandy ocean floor in about 35 feet of water. After about 40 minutes, it was completely dark and we got in the water and formed a circle around the lights. About 12 mantas continuously cruised through the light beam feeding on the plankton. They said it was a pretty typical night. Some nights they get over 20 mantas to show up. It was pretty cool.
