That was probably the best episode yet.....well next to the hell divers one. I want to make my first trip this year too, but having to ward off 6 duskys!!! I'm a pretty ballsy guy but you would have heard me screaming like a little girl.

I watched the 1st Middle Grounds episode yesterday, I was very impressed! Dan & Ricky did a great job of representing "Scuba Shooters" and the show shed a positive light on commercial spearfishing as well. Can't wait to see the next episode!

I was actually surprised that they showed some of the stringers coming over the side of the boat... 'bout time they showed some badass spearos. They have had a tendency to tone it down for the general public, I guess they have to.
Can't wait to see the parts 2 & 3.

I bet they did tone it down. I am pretty sure in "real life" conditions there would have been some smack laid down on the sharks.

Although the show did kind of over dramatize the sharks. None of them looked crazy aggressive from the video.

3 or 4 at once is spooky though.

I tried watching last night online and it didn't come on, I emailed them (they were really responsive) and this is what they said:

No, you can’t view tonight’s Speargun Hunter episode. Because of legal reasons, we cannot air on the internet what we show on television at the same time or within a certain time of its airing. And, some shows, we don’t have the rights to air on broadband. So, there are many parts and pieces that have to be in place before we decide on which shows and which show’s episodes go up on broadband. Over time, we expect those contracts changing and availability of programming to be more prevalent.

I have watched them all and have them on the DVR. That was a really greast episode. I really look forward to getting to the Middle Grounds soon...

They are showing the first half of the season, then rerunning it (now), then they are showing the second half of the season (new shows), and then rerunning that. I don't really understand why that is better than showing the whole season and then rerunning the whole season, but I guess they have their reasons. Maybe all the shows for the last half of the season aren't completed yet?

I do agree that splitting the first half from the second half when you are one show into a three show series on the Middlegrounds is just plain cruel.

Sheri personaly talks about the show and the reasons why they aired what they did and why they are waiting to show the rest. her conversation is over on spearboard somewhere.

I believe I read them saying that episode of the MG was just a teaser and the good stuff is still yet to come.

did anyone have problems watching the episodes? I can't get them to play. I downloaded Silverlight and disabled the firefox wall but they still won't play. I'm not good with computers so any help would be appreciated.

Ajs drawn up with a butterfly jig and a hookless topwater plug, chummed into a mad frenzy with live pilchards, and then... well you know how the rest goes. :gun: Big snapper, sharks, gags, hogs ect..
