1) The Scuba Spearfishing World Records are intended to compliment the existing Freedive Spearfishing World Records
2) Other than operating costs, fees collected will be returned to the diving community to preserve and protect our sport. We will not differentiate between freedive and scuba spearfishing when utilizing these funds
3) We can accept applications for Scuba World Records effective today, 7-20-07. The applicant must comply with all of the same policies used by IUSA, except the obvious, for example, scuba, not freedive. The judging committe will be established and published soon. Fees will initially be $35, same as IUSA.
4) Judging Committee is comprised of :Louis Rossignal (LA), Ritchie Zacker (FL), more to be named in the coming days.
