What a day but it was great to see everyone that made it out and I can honestly say everyone will sleep good tonight. That current was killer.:bsflag: The seas weren't to bad in the morning but picked up something nasty dead out of the south in the afternoon. Boy how about that killer top to bottom viz though.

We also raised $320 in a raffle for the FRA from a brand new riffe that was donated by Cameron Kirkconnel of riffe.

Anyway here are the results that everyone has wanted to see.

Top teams-

1st- Red Tide- Sasa Bratic, GR Tarr, Ritchie Zacker - 379.60 points
2nd- Spetton- Harloff Dean, Pablo Eao, Roberto Marego- 327.50 points
3rd- Bohica- Ciro Leonard, Jason Wetmore, John Schmidt- 283.90 points

1st- Sasa Bratic- 138.60 points
2nd- Harloff Dean- 129.75 points
3rd- GR Tarr- 126.35 points
4th- Ritchie Zacker- 114.65 points
5th- Pablo Eao- 113.0 points

Great job on running the tournament GR and Ritchie. On behalf of all the members of the FSDA and the other FSDA Officers and tournament chairpersons, I want to thank you two for the extra work it took to organize, run and still be able to shoot in this tournament. Congratulations to all the winners. In my book any of you guys and gals who went out and shot in todays tournament and didn't wuss out are all champs.
Ritchie, I will get the scales, tubs and fish boards from you at the FSDA meeting this coming Wed.
GREAT JOB GUYS!
P.S. I already have gotten requests to sell Red Tide shirts in my shop!

Thanks to everyone who helped put on the tournament, I had a great time. Food, free-clothing, watching Ritchie way 200 sheepshead while I attemtped to figure out how many chicken wings I could fit into my mouth at once, what more could I ask for.

A big thanks to John Schmidt for making it happen for us this year. For a guy who only goes freediving once a year, he holds his own with some of the states best.

It was good to see everybody over on the west coast, I'd like to point out 6of the top ten were from the East side :moon:

I'll make sure that I measure all you east coast guys fish really closely next year and DQ you for looking at me wrong and eating all the food.:D

PS...

If anybody or team that brings a stringer of fish in and can't get their fish off their stinger in five minutes or less will be DQ'd. There was one team thats name is eluding me right now that comes to mind but I'm pretty sure he owns a yellowfin.;)

Congrats on the win Team Red Tide, sounds like you guys had to fight through some tough conditions. I wish I could have participated but I guess there's always next year... Does anyone have some pictures from the weigh-in? I want to see some of those stringers.

Congrats again! :toast:
