So my neighbor comes over and asks if I can re-rig her sons little JBL gun for better range. Its like a pistol really maybe 50 cm. It had about 2 feet of spectra rigged to the shaft. Says he shoots mullet with it off a dock.
I rig it up with a double wrap of mono but it seems like it isnt going to release from the line holder thingy when fired. Against all better judgement, I take it out in the yard, point it out and slightly down and let er rip.
Damn does that little thing have some power! It shoots the shaft all the way to the end of the line..above the ground, then the shaft springs back and comes right back at me. It hits me in the shin and goes to the bone. Had it not hit the bone in my leg im pretty sure it would have gone all the way thru my calf.
My leg bled for half the day and today I have a big knot on my shin.
Stooopid.

I'm not quite getting a clear picture of what happened. Could you post some helmet cam still photos and perhaps a graph??:D
