on this little trip were me ,23six and notanx also non member rob sterling
we started off by heading out of palm beach inlet at about 7 this morning the vis was alot clearer than i expected ran out about 30 miles looking for a solid weed line but no luck. turned around to come back in and at around 20 miles out i saw a rip so we jumoped in and started chumming put flashers out and hung out for an hour or so with no show of life at all so we called it and decide to head to the reef but as im pulling the chum bag in a nice dolphin shows up at the back of the boat , by now we all have our fins and masks off but after a little scrambling rob and i are in the water i get one band loaded on my 160 and shoot. it hits but extremley low and im afraid its gonna tear because rob was tangled in the mono and float linebut got it cleared and took a back up shot with a 140 mako railgun but with out a floatline as soon as the shaft hit the fight was on and i was very suprised at how strong the fish was..She turned out to be just a little over 24 lbs.
Next we headed in shallower to around 55 feet and were stunned by the vis but also by the lack of fish. then we went to the wreck which is about 90feet deep and it was covered with cudas, jacks, cobias riding bullsharks
also a couple nice grouper which were just to smart for us in the super clear water . we picked up AJ,CUDAS,HUGE CREVALLE,the sharks were everywhere but on medium tempers today nothing to crazy.we would have shot alot more but were being selective and the camera was there for everything to while one person was hunting the other was filming
PICS WILL FOLLOW AS SOON AS RECIEVED
