I sent them an email and they say it is only waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

So what do you do with it for diving? Put it in another case or something?

I make a small canister that I sell that you can fit this along with a few other things in it that is rated to 400fsw. That is what I use.

You got a photo and price for that canister?

i'd like a little, strong canister also. any pics Dago? maybe one that will barely fit the SPOT and a small flare/light.

Althugh not as good as dago's canisters, I have used old blown flashlight casings in the past for this... this unit might fit in a 4 D cell flashlight housing good to 150 or so.

If they added a text function to this it would be invaluable... "all is well...love you." or "avalanche, two skiiers buried" would add a lot of function to it.
