You'll probably want Georgia? It's amazing how much warmer we get in NC than down there...

If you are into bottom hunting, southern NC is the way to go. But look at the RED. That's the true Gulf Stream and where the bluewater action is. Also, the bottom contours are way closer off of Hatteras. It all equates to bluewater action. Gulf Stream water also sweeps in much closer to Hatteras at times.

Lived in GA and S. Car. It's not often the GS is in closer than 60miles offshore..the dip in gets ya

Hey, that chart is active - it changed a bunch since the original post. Cool.
It might be worthwhile to put one of those up in every regional section so folks could check it to help with dive planning - turn SFP into a one stop shop instead of visiting a bunch of sites.
