i seemed to have hit a glass ceiling with my breathe holds. i double my capability in a month, but now no real improvement. i train every day at it "mostly dynamic, not so much static" from what ive been reading that seems to be the best way to go. but any ideas?

You can't train everyday, it has an adverse effect on your performance. Spearfishing Planet is still young (less than a year) and growing, and hasn't established its freediving library of threads and posts yet.

Visit www.deeperblue.net and do some research in its vast resource library of info regarding competitive freediving and techniques. It was established in 1996 and many of the world's top competitive apneists are part of the forum. Former world record holder Eric Fattah is on almost everyday and is like the super genius of all that is apnea.

Now stop over training!!!

wow, i didnt think that was possible. but i guess it makes sense cause you can over train every thing else in your body.

I must concur. My static stalled, then actually got worse from daily/extended sessions:confused:

Still don't understand why but :wtf: Guess I better just keep doing what I do:toast:
