Today was Ray Odor's suprise 80th birthday party.:birthday: A good time was definitley had by all. It was great seeing Ray singing with the band and swaping stories with everybody. The photo albums with all vintage black and white fish pictures really had me captivated.
I will try and post some pics.

Here is Ritchie with Joe Felicione. Joe and Ray were slaying partners in Tampa Bay before Ritchie was born. Check out the pic with Joe's finger bandaged or should I say where his finger used to be. A gentle Goliath Grouper tore it off:eek:

Ray and his gang did not need stringers back in the day. They just needed a bigger boat.:toast:

Looks like a great time. I met Ray a few months back. I stopped off at his home for a few items. Besides meeting a legend, he made me feel like he had known me his whole life. What a great man. I bet I know what song he was singing. Happy Birthday Ray!

Funny coincident, I just got on Ray's web site today for the first time and on the second page is Ray as most of you probably already know lugging a stringer of fish onto the boat. I had no idea the amount of respect the community has paid him (very deservingly) over the years. I now know why. :smnotworthy:

Happy 80th Ray. Many more to come.

Nice pics!!!!!

Happy Birthday Ray.

I always love going to visit Ray and get his advice on different spearfishing related matters. He has a great no BS approach.
