The Big Bend Coastal Tallywhackers (Wakulla), Panacea Nike, SaltyXcape, and 8dDUCE, and wives of the Coastal Tallywhackers have dined, and met Mr. Mikecrotch, and the Macon Bacon Crew. It was a good time, lots of good food, and some great stories, experiences exchanged. Great guys, this is what these posts, and boards are about, meeting, talking to, and learning from fellow spearfishermen. We look forward to many more meetings, and outings, with the Macon Bacon Crew. 8dDUCE, wondering if mikecrotch, and the Macon Bacon Bro's think that the Wakulla Tallywhackers drink too much. Late logging in, but thanks for the hospitality. There is nothing better than hanging out with a group of tallywhackers. I felt quite at ease as I sat upright at the table in the back room at Posey's with tallywhackers all around. And Little Dutch, since it was an informal meeting, we dispensed with all the formalities and obviously did not present any awards such as the blue steel or purple helmet. I'm hoping that some of the non posters from the macon bacon crew, i.e. Tripod, Trojan Man, and our resident gynecologist (Paul) will soon join the planet. Speaking of that, we could use some help coming up with a name for Paul and I'm quite sure with his occupation and the collective genius found here we should have something good in short order. By the way, I've noticed that he has incredible abilities to peer into cracks and crevices, must be a natural gift. I will try to post a report later this evening.

Saturday : Bad clouds off shore, stayed in close with fair visibility, approx 15' in most spots. Combined, we did 11 tanks and ended up with 7 Gags, 5 Hogs, 2 Triggers, 2 Mangroves, 2 Convicts, and approximately 12 Spanish Macks. Nothing big; however, Dr. Paul did do a 29" gag. Had dinner at Posey's with an outstanding group of semi-intoxicated tallywhackers. None were in bad shape as they were all capable of becoming fully erect prior to walking out. Sunday : Hit Yamaha early, hoping for better vis and bigger fish. Tripod and Trojan Man nearly did a header into the barge as Vis was a full 4' 8 1/2". Dropped on a few spots near there hoping for Vis and it wasn't to be. Headed back in to Florida Gas Transmission Reef and was surprised to see rubble from the boat. Had long dives in the 21' bath water and shot several nice Gags as well as several convicts. Will give more details when I get a chance. With regard to Paul's new name, obviously he will have to make a decision, but I'm thinking you guy's have given him plenty to consider.
