View Full Version : Hogfish Prize
NSEARCH 08-05-2007, 04:16 PM This is something I've wanted to do for the St. Pete Open for last 2 years but between one thing or another I've never gotten the project started in time. This year I have. I'm donating this 23-inch by 17-inch stained glass hogfish to the prize table. Pictured here is the fish at about 75% complete. I still need to mount it to an oval background that will be blue water glass and finish up the rigging so it'll be ready to hang in some lucky shooter's house. My digital camera is at the shop so these were taken with my cell phone.....not the best quality but you get the picture. The red snout doesn't show all that well in these pictures but it really sets it in person.

Unknowingly to you I have already taken care of ya Howie. With much thought I have completed this masterpiece for your front door. The “Big O” represents the many empty stringers you’ve brought up :D

Thanks for the kind words everyone!! It's been a lot of fun (albeit frustrating at times but what project isn't?) and I look forward to seeing someone pick it up as their prize.
