That should read "the percieved botched federal response."
It's the local authorities responsibility to request aid from the governor & it's the governor's responsibility to request aid from the federal authorities.

From what I understand of the situation, the locals just sat around and waited for the feds to come bail them out. The people in Mississippi came together and started helping their neighbors while the residents of N.O. just sat around & waited for a hand out... Just like they were trained to do. :rolleyes:

I bet he sells lots of books & makes lots of $$$$

Yea...I didn't much agree with that as well. I believe the less reliance on the Federal government is better.
